I have always loved Waterstones book shops and make a beeline for one whenever I am out shopping. Your staff are always very helpful and friendly but I must say that yesterday I visited your store and spoke to a gentleman about the types of books I needed. It was so refreshing to be able to speak to somebody who was so knowledgeable about the type of books I need. He was able to offer advice and was very understanding about the needs of the children and families I work with. I'll definitely be back.

Bought my BMW 1 Series from Blackburns after hearing good reviews. I paid for extended warranty for 12 month. 8 month of owning the car the turbo coolant pump failed. Sadly this was not covered by the third party warranty company, but Blackburns offered £100 towards the £150 bill out of good will. Very happy with the services provided from start to finish.

My wife has just purchased her second car from Blackburns of Darlington, the service received from Mathew was second to none, cars are priced fairly and are usually dealer cars of a very high standard. Do you really need a review of a place like Shell garage? If you don't know what a Shell garage is you probably shouldn't be going there. Shell garage offers a wide array of tasty yet expensive snacks suitable for a long road trip or a late night hankering. With chocolate, crisps, and various sweets you can't go wrong. On top of the solid selection of sugary goodness you will find refrigerators full of cold beverages to quench your thirst after a hard minute's work filling a tank. Still not satisfied? The staff at Shell garage Woodlands road are pleasant, conscientious people who will rush to random customers aid when they fail to properly secure their vehicle whilst entering the shop, and allowing said vehicle to roll forward and crush Shell owned bins. That's right, they want to help you. Fill up your car now at the Shell garage on Woodlands road.

Lack of space between lanes leaves you blocked in occasionally. Not all pumps have pay at pump.

It's a fine place to shop, ASDA as usual have great deals and good price cuts but there is one issue about the store that can't really be blamed on the store itself. The sheer number of people parking in the pickup point is unreal. I don't mean parking to pick someone or something up I mean parking full stop. It makes life difficult for those waiting for lifts and taxis and if you have a disability then good luck finding a disabled parking spot that hasn't been taken by someone "just nipping in" The store is great but the car park needs better enforcement.

One of the better places to food shop in Darlington. Slightly more expensive but the fruit and veg is way better quality than other supermarkets I might mention (beginning with M ending in orrisons). Their home delivery is a bit naff however: they replace things frequently and the fruit, veg and dairy they give you are always near expiration in my experience.

Quick and efficient petrol station. All pumps seem to have pay at pump, and there is usually next to no queue inside the shop if paying in there.

Superb store, lots of bikes and wide range of clothing accessories. Staff were friendly and very engaging with the customers I saw them with.

I bought a bike from them and found everyone there friendly and chatty but most importantly honest. I've been riding for years and bought loads of bike and it has to be said this was one of my best bike buying experiences.

After 40 odd years off a motorcycle it was great to be back in the saddle. What no kick start and who's idea was it to swap the gears and rear brake over!!!!!! MMT were absolutely great from the first enquiry to the day of my refresher course can't wait until the weather improves to get some more time out on my own motorcycle.

Clean bright charity store

The staff are usually more than happy to help but there is one particular staff member who can be a little bit unappealing. Obviously they provide money towards a great cause and although I rarely buy anything there is ALWAYS something that catches my eye in here. The only reason I choose not to buy is because I already have what they're selling. Of course you can bring items to donate and please feel free to pop in and look around. Its a lovely little store and everyone is welcome.

Me and my mam have been into the pharmacy a few times in the last couple of months, and noticed that there was a new lady on the counter. Whom we asked for some advice, she was very helpful , very kind and would just like to say she is an asset to your pharmacy.

Nice little Pharmacy not only prescriptions but haircare skincare and gifts. I went in to have my blood pressure checked. This was a free service. I purchased a lady gaga bottle of perfume reduced from £25 to £10.. Bargain.. The staff were very friendly and helpful...:)

Fine place to shop for clothes. You can always find a good deal. The only issue is you have to have a membership to actually make purchases. You can easily become a member in store at the checkout so not too bad really. The store is huge here and all the staff are friendly. If you need some new clothes pop down and see what takes your fancy. Bus routes stop just outside the retail park and parking is available and free.

Really good, plenty of options, some really nice clothes there for all types of people. The only downside is that the website doesn't state that most larger sized would need to be pre ordered online.

SJ Systems sourced me a laptop some time ago, with no fuss at all. Having assessed my requirements I was found a great deal which I was unable to beat elsewhere. The laptop was set up for me and was ready to go as soon as I received it with all of the programs that I had wanted (a great advantage for a self confessed technophobe). Since then I have had a full recovery of data and repair following me dropping the computer (and having no hope that any of my work would be recovered). Some time later I also needed a screen repair after another accident and again this was attended to with great communication, minimal cost and excellent efficiency. I would have no hesitation in recommending SJ Systems at all.

Very good value IT support packages are a plus, probably the most cost effective in the north east, if not the country.

Great environment and beautiful items, but more expensive than your average shop while you get free gift wrapping. There's no disability entrance as you have to climb a few steps/stairs. Short stay parking is available behind the building, and accessible to all. Enjoy 👌👌👌

Lovely craft shop well worth a visit especially if you like Art Deco designs. Plenty to please all crafters from beginners to advanced. The lady in the shop was so welcoming and helpful. The shop has been refurbished to enable them to have a beautiful wedding section where you can order personalised hand made wedding stationery, invitations etc. So many ideas.... a crafters delight.

After having a couple of bad experiences with two other bike shops Wheelbase Darlington is a breath of fresh air. Very helpful staff and manager, with good communication. Excellent bike shop. I will be visiting again. Five star experience.

I was riding 8 miles from Osmotherly in the North Yorks Moors with no phone signal when my chain snapped. Ian from Wheel Base was cycling by as we limped towards Osmotherly (where there is no bike repair facility but presumably a bus stop) and stopped with his partner Sandy and repaired my chain and gave expert advice on nursing the bike to our destination at Darlington Railway Station. I would have no hesitation in using Wheel Base. Thank you Ian for being a Good Samaritan and saving my day and I think I need those maintenance lesson which you run at Wheel Base

I had decided to cut out the middleman when ordering Mother's Day flowers & went straight to Heavenly Scent. I called them & explained the colours i was looking for & the bouquet that my Mum received was stunning & when i visited some weeks later they were still on the go. My son wasn't one for structured flower arrangements and loved being outdoors walking his dogs. After his death my daughter suggested a "meadow" for his coffin instead of the usual wreath. Artichoke did exactly as we envisioned. It seemed as if grasses and wild flowers grew out of the wood. It covered the coffin and drifted down the sides..beautiful.. thankyou ..

Artichoke created a absolutely stunning casket spray of flowers for my Nans funeral ,all in her favourite colours .Everyone commented on how beautiful they were .If your after a stunning arrangement of flowers this is the place to go .Thank you Artichoke.

After some research online and discovered other flower shops in the area were either closed on mothers day or charging £18 for delivery I was really pleased that first for flowers were open AND were charging they're normal rates. After speaking to the florist himself ( who went out of his way, nothing was too much ) my mum received a beautiful bouquet that was colourful and well worth the money..she still talks about it now. I will definitely use this florist again or my mum will kill me!! Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much.

I visited here yesterday and had a panini and an Americano and cannot fault either in fact it's cheaper and better quality than the chain coffee shops.

Excellent baked potato and chili, good salad box options which we also enjoyed. Good takeaway food and plenty of options to choose from served by helpful staff.

Our business uses this lovely deli very often on a personal basis and for client catering. Food is always lovely and good quality and the staff are always cheery and helpful. A lovely gem in Darlington.

I remember the days when everything was a pound... not so much the case now but hey. The store can become very crowded at times and there are several self service checkouts as well as staffed ones. The range of products varies depending on the time of year. Obviously for a pound you can't expect great quality but if you're not going to be driving what you buy there shouldn't be many issues. The store has become less everything a pound and more mostly a pound.. like some things are £2 or £3 they may even have stuff that is something 99. Let's just call this a cheap shop?

Additionally, they have indicators on their site to tell you if your goods are in stock - very helpful. A fantastic next day delivery service to boot, and everything well packaged. Having had terrible experiences with other mail order outdoors companies these guys were a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended!

The staff are excellent. They help you to map your feet and they put no pressure on you. They have excellent recommendations and stock. I had problems with my ankle whilst running, which has disappeared after getting my feet mapped here and using the pair of shoes they recommended

I've visited this CeX in particular for years now. I've always bought from the store and not often sold stuff as I prefer doing it online. The staff are mostly friendly but can sometimes provide a slow service. Don't expect to get much money for your items though, the prices are great to buy from them but if your only selling your best to check online what you'll make before coming in store. Overall good.

This store has a very large range of goods. Anything from sweets and biscuits to beds and tv's. The store is located near Morrison's just off north road and can not yet be accessed directly by bus. However if you drive, free parking is available in a shared car park with McDonald's. Prices are reasonable for the most part but some items can be quite expensive. However this in a bargain store so there is a good chance you'll end up saving. There are a few issues with the store but nothing to really shout about. They have friendly staff and a very large store. If you're looking for something there is a very good chance you'll find it here.

Really bleak inside but the garden centre is pretty nice. It has almost as good a selection as B&Q but for much better prices. The plants were far less sad looking than at other B&M's too!

I had a fantastic cake made for my daughters 21st Birthday, as it was on the 2nd of January I thought it would be impossible to find anyone to help. The cake surpassed my expectations, it was amazing and my daughter loved it. It will be a shame to cut it up and eat it.

The best you must try and taste the experience.

We used this Camera A for my daughters wedding photographs as we'd been recommended to them by a friend. The day was fantastic and Anne made the day go smoothly, the photographs were fun and natural and we were over the moon with the photographs we received. I would highly recommend this photographers in Darlington again!

An excellent choice of good quality wine, if you go for the recommended wines with labels like “We Love This” you can’t go far wrong.
