This is an amazing nursery school right in the centre of town. The staff are warm and like a family to my children, the buildings and grounds are fabulous (amazing huge garden) and would strongly recommend to everyone.
Borough road nursery is an excellent pre school nursery from 2yr to getting them ready for primary school. The staff are great and very friendly. Plus they have a huge outdoor area which is used for play and teaching. There is a misconception that it closed when the school closed which is why they have lot's of openings for pre school. My 5 yr old went there and my 3yr old daughter still goes.

I admit this school is pretty good, but we should be able to say hello or ask how your brother/sisters day is going if you are a senior and your brother or sister is a junior. Other than that, great school!

Beautiful grounds and the building is amazing. They're flexible and have a great variety of foods for the children and different rooms to play in, and even gardens. Loved the place and miss it still! x

The flight flew from RAF Brize Norton on 24th April 2024 with 500 cuddly giraffes on board to raise money and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital in memory of Louise Conway who died at just nine years old of leukaemia in 2013. Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate donated 50% of the production costs on behalf of the junior school, Chapter House, and our Forces community across campus - which is about 25% of our total student population.

Our daughter has been very happy here. She has been looked after, encouraged, excited by her work and pushed to do her best. We love the atmosphere when visiting and staff have really helped since I've become a wheelchair user. After 5 years belonging to our school we would recommend to parents. Problems we have encountered as all kids do at school have been dealt with quickly. We have seen any hint of bullying, unsociable behaviour and difficult times turned around. Staff are super supportive and they give the impression of loving our kids and going the extra mile is considered their day to day job.

This school is amazing. I would consider going to it since all the staff are lovely, Deals with bullying well, takes good care of children with special needs and is quite a nice school. It is split up into three sections. Primary, Seniors (Older Kids starting from year 7) and Beaumont Hill (Special Needs Children) I highly suggest going here!

Took my daughter to Chris over the summer period to help her gain confidence for this years school year. The work that he put in to help her with maths was superb. Shes gained confidence and self belief and so far this year is finding her school work a lot easier. Thanks Chris, we'll be back for sure.
Dear Chris I’d just like to reiterate how pleased I am with Francesca’s progress in Maths. As you know I was concerned at the end of year five in July because she appeared to be struggling and upon assessment you confirmed she was approximately a year and a half behind. However, I have recently attended a parents evening and since her studies with you commenced this summer Francesca has caught up, is keeping pace with her class and her mathematics teacher has stated that her confidence has also improved. Francesca has stated on more than one occasion that she wishes you were her ‘proper’ teacher. Needless to say that I put this improvement down to the dedicated support that you have provided, therefore I will be encouraging Francesca to continue with your tuition throughout schooling and I without hesitation I will also encourage any other parents and children to use your services. Thank you, sincerely. M Emma Barugh Managing Director MB Human Resources Consulting Ltd Thrive the employee engagement system

When Stephanie and I decided to learn to dance Foxtrot, we went to Kellen Dance Academy and loved it. For our private classes, they provided the perfect venue, light airy with a great ballroom floor in Cockerton, Darlington. Both Kelly and Ellen taught us the very basics - to more advanced styling. Teaching style is relaxed without pressure, placing the emphasis on fun learning. If you plan to learn ballroom or latin dance, look no further than Kellen.

Went here as a child and Rachel taught at my old school, great teacher and the bond she has with the students is unbreakable
My daughter goes to Rachel Coad School of Dance and thoroughly enjoys herself there. After watching the Annual Show I felt I had to come on here and leave a review of how fantastic the dance school is. Rachel has an amazing rapour with her pupils and there is a really friendly atmosphere within the dance school. So in my opinion if anyone is looking for a dance school to send their children to I would definitely recommend this one. :)
